Hi, I'm having troubles triyin to stop a stepper. I'm using the PLS 0 with a 224XP CPU. In my application, a Labeling Machine; I need a Stepper to run freely, until a label sensor counts 4 negative transitions. I found in help the following:
"You can disable the generation of a PTO or PWM waveform at any time by writing zero to the PTO/PWM enable bit of the control byte (SM67.7 or SM77.7), and then executing the PLS instruction"
So I load the PLS with a very high PULSE COUNT VALUE, and wait to the label counter (VD136), reach the logical condition to stop the Pulse Train.

I'm using a hardware interruption to stop the pulse train generation, the code in the interruption, evaluates the label counter and if it equals 4 then execute the code to stop the pulse generation in the PTO. Here is the piece of code that it's supposed to stop the stepper.

LDD=4,VD136 //this is theLabel counter evaluation.Do VD136 equals 4?
MOVB 16#0, SMB67 //This is the SM byte of PLS 0 configured to stop the pulse train
PLS 0
S M0.4, 1 //test code just to see if the logical is reached

The problem is especifically that the pulse train simply don't stop. Like is supposed to, and VD136 effectively reachs 4, and my test mark M0.4 it is changing from 0 o 1 when VD136 reach 4.
