Hi, no this is not possible. Why do you not use the internal EEPROM in the PLC? Two ways to get data in a S7-200 avaliable for unlimit of time: 1. If you only have status value then you can create a DB from RAM. This function writes the complete V-Memory in a DB. The DB is is retentive form unlimit time. You can do this via MW PLC; "Create Datablock from RAM"). 2. If you have values you need to "save" after some changes then write it in to the EEPROM controlled by the user program. a. Use SMB31 and SMB32 (max. 4 Bytes) b. goto www.s7-200.net and download the library to store to EEPROM (> then 4 Bytes)free of charge After the modification (in case 2) of your user program you do not need the battery card anymore. I hope this helps. Regards Helmut |

Thanks Helmut for the fast response! Data can be changed by user, so I'll take the second solution.
