4-20 mA signals for EXM 438/EXM 438-1

shambo Posts: 20 Rating: (1)	Can anyone can tell me whether it is possible to connect 2 wire current transducer as Analog output in the X3 terminal of EXM 438/EXM 438-1 through SU13 terminal? If it is possible then how? If this is not possible can I access an analog output module through a FM 458-1DP if I put the analog output card in the same rack with FM458-1DP? LA_COLD Posts: 24 Rating: (8)	No you cannot directly connect 4-20 signals to the EXM438. Everyone uses a converter module to go from4-20mA to +-10VDC. You can get converter modules from almost anywhere, the most popular being Pheonix or Knick. Make sure the converter has a sampling rate fast enough for your application.
