I have one application using external encoder,with 2000ppr,first i need to find rpm of motor which in mounted on encoder and i have synchronise the motor with my siemens servo motor v90,it is for packaging application.can you give idea,i try with rpm formula

RPM =(Pulses/s)*60/ppr is it right or not

I think your formula is alright.

Output RPM = ((Pulses Recieved in 1 sec * 60) / PPR) / Gear Ratio
