After update and a gap of 15-20 days - all LEDs on the CPU are flashing

I have faced the same problem in 3 different occasions. I have checked the power supply, grounding and pins of Rack and found all of them are ok. I also did frimware update to latest available version. But then also this problem appears after a gap of 15-20 days. Then after complete memory reset the problem disappears and the CPU runs successfully for another 15-20 days and the problem appears again!

I have collected the diagnostic buffer of the faulty CPU by putting the toggle switch to Stop and making a memory reset which I'm attaching herewith but have no idea what is the source of this problem and how this can be arrested?

what CPU are you talking about?

In your attachment are two diagnostic buffers. one from a 319F and one from a 414.

I guess your query is about the CPU414 with the diagnostic buffer entry :

Try a FW-update. Some kind of those errors are described there in the FW-update-notes.

If the situation is not better with the latest FW, I would create a Support Request to contact Siemens directly.

I've faced this problem with three different CPUs in three different occasions and sites. Once with CPU414-4H, once with CPU 417-5H and last night with CPU319-F. This problem is driving me crazy and I've no clue to solve this problem. And I did a firmware update to CPU 414-4H to latest available firmware 4.5.7 reading various similar topic in the forum but after this also the problem reappeared in CPU 414-4H. In other two occasions I have to replace with new CPU and the problem has not occurred in a while.

When 3 different CPU´s showing the same behavior, it seems that there is something in your environment that maybe disturbes the CPUs.

I think about the power supply or EMV-problems.

I have changed everything but the problem is repeating in a few days.

CP443-1 6GK7 443-1EX30-0XE0 V3.2

When I unplugged the Ethernet card and delete from the configuration, it does not repeat the problem.

I changed the all cards and rack two times.
