Is the battery too hold his remenent markers ?

Or does it hold the program?

Hello.

The PLC can function without the battery. The program is stored in permanent memory.

The trouble comes when the PLC is not powered for a longer time (> 50 hours). In this case the configured retained areas is not retained.
