PLC lost it's link to all stations

Hi All,

Just to discuss our setup, we have 1 redundant CPU and 7 RIOs (2 stations per RIO). We powered off 1 RIO (station 5 & 6) as we have to change a few internal wiring. I expected that nothing will go wrong as the 1xCPU and 7xRIO is in a ring (which is working).

What happened based from the diagnostic buffer is that the PLC lost it's link to all 14stations for a brief period then return automatically - which seems connected to rebuilding the ring (please correct me as I'm still trying to find out what causes this)

I also noticed that under H-Parameters, there is this Data block number for Redundant IO, which 1 and 2 is entered by default. I actually used DB1 and DB2 in my program, is this somehow the cause?

Shall I enter any other DB no. instead of 1 & 2? Cause right now, there isn't any error in the PLC aside from "no 24 VDC power to some modules" as we haven't installed those yet.

Please see attached update time for Profinet IO system which I left as default. I'm wondering if I need to change this and to what value if needed.
