How can I modify an HW input? I can not use a watch table, does not work.(TIA V15, PLCSIM Advanced V2.0)

Even if I force the input value my HW interrupt is not triggered? Anybody know if it is possible simulate an HW interrupt like this?

I do not have the advanced simulator. An example for simulating inputs in the regular simulator for Step7 V15 is given in the picture. The sim-table or sequence-table is populated in the simulator to emulate inputs.

The hardware interrupt is functional in the example. The HSC does not work in the example.

The advanced functions of the advance simulator only applies to the later model of S7-1500. The functionality in the advance simulator should be comparable than shown.

Attached is an archive containing a Step7 V15 project and PLCSIM V15 project. The configuration of a `trace` is also given with a saved sample recording.

Thanks! I got it to work in PLCSIM but not in PLCSIM Advanced by forcing the input value. That does not working PLCSIM either.

I know it's a very old post, just if someone needs it in the future:

In HW-config of the input card, I/O address, set <none> as "process image" (remember it when your tests are done).
