Dear boss, I've seen SOCOMEC DIRIS A 40 before and i was told that it has a Profibus interface. Siemens definitely has something like it and it's called SIMEAS P but it's not a product of Siemens A&D. It belongs to Siemens PTD (Power Transmission & Distribution). Siemens produces a very powerful monitoring and control device for motor managementcalled SIMOCODE which can be also connected to Profibus networks. http://www.automation.siemens.com/cd/simocode/html_76/motormanagement_grundgeraet.htm I didn't have a chance to deal with that SIMOCODE but my colleagues told me before that it's very powerful.
