I am wondering how many tag tables should I create? and what matter should I arrange them.

For example, should I create a tag table for each tank to include all of its I/O devices and bit addresses?

What is your strategy?

I think its the best way to have a tag structure for each component, in your case tank.

Its clear and readable for use and future analizing.

Do you mean each field device like sensors and actuators? 

I think this will make like a hundred tag table each contains almost 4 tags

Is that right?
