EBM101 Posts: 53 Rating: (0)	Hi Experts, What are the equivalent conversion for S7-200 PLC Address "&VB1000" and "&VB7000"? I check on the cross-reference in the program and these addresses were only used on the network as shown below.

I am 80% sure that the equivalent is going to be an array in the S7-1200. You will need to study how indirect addressing works in the S7-200 and understand how the mechanism works. Be on the lookout for the * and & symbols.

Duris_I Diamond Expert Joined: 4/28/2015 Last visit: 11/27/2025 Posts: 10970 Rating: (843)	Hello, the reason to do this save memory address is probably pointer arithmetic f.ex. move pointer to saved addr+1 (looking to address Pointer+1) or also as qwazee mentioned (array example manipulation). It's very useful feature.
