Trying to upload program from SR60. problem is that sometime it is showing an error and sometime software crashes and closes instantly. what may be the reason?

do you use newest MicroWIN Version - please check Version and update. Windows 10 is not supported.

The ST60 of the S7-200 SMART range does not use the same software as the original S7-200 did. I do not know what the specifications of Microwin SMART is, but I think it does run on Win10. Win11 might be a problem, (People report being upgraded to Win11.)

I am barred from using the SMART series so I cannot directly help.

Give your PC a clean restart if you have not done so before. Also the PLC. Link directly the PC with the PLC when attempting communications again. Siemens PLCs in general has a flaw that is only handled by making a clean reboot.

If you have a PPI cable, consider using that as alternative communication.

Not much else except that you can register a free support request by using the "Support Request" button. It may take a while before an expert in SMART range responds on the forum.

Try with only program block while upload popup.

While I face the problem the above line help me.

Secondly please use microwin smart version 2.5 or later .
