The CP 5711 (PC adaper USB A2) does not support drivers for te PPI protocol.

But as you can see in the followig links, to connect to a S7-200 CPU you can set it to the Profibus "Universal" profile,; a speed of 9600 baud is your best bet with a S7-200.

Thank you for your answer, I couldn't understand. I have PC adapter USB A2 not CP 5711 and it is written in its manual that "To operate the PC Adapter USB A2 on a PPI network, you also require the software package STEP 7 Micro/Win32. By the way, My PC operating system is Windows 7 Proffesional 64-bit and is downloaded on STEP 7 Micro/Win 4.0.9.25

Generally, If we want to connect to S7 200 CPU222, what kind of protocol is used to connect to PC?.

PPI / MPI / DP is family members. In your case you can use the PC adapter set to MPI. But there are restrictions on the baud rate that can be handled. The link that Mr. Chartier provided first, states the restrictions. Hopefully the S7-200 you use is set within the baud range that the PC adapter can handle.

All that is left to do is try it.

For clarity: The CP5711 was mentioned because it was documented with the PC adapter. You are safe to focus only on the documented pieces relevant to the PC adapter.
