I am working with a non-siemens drive in TiA Portal V17 with a S7-1500. I want to use the free telegram (0), but I don't know how to configure the profidrive parameters p915 and p916 to select the signals to map.

How can I do that or where can I find related documentation?

 You are working with a non-Siemens drive and asking for help. At least tell us what the drive is that you are using?

Normally the drive telegram configuration is found in the manufacturers documentation, look from there.

Sorry for the vague question. I will try to add a bit more context.

The profidrive specification defines a Free telegram (0), in which the signals can be configured using the standard profidrive parameters p915 and p916. Since this is standard, this can potentially supported by any drive of any manufacturer.

I was wondering if those parameters (p915 and p916) can be somehow configured in TiA portal project so the PLC writes them before starting the cyclic communications, during the initialization phase. 

Should this be done programmatically? If that's the case what instructions should I use?

If there is documentation that I can follow to do this, it would also be very helpful, since I am a beginner in this matter.

Still you don't reveal to us what VFD you are talking about.

Acyclic parameter access is what you can read to write parameters to VFD's but without knowing what the VFD is, hard to say if you can write the parameters from the PLC.

For example, the AK2DG from Kollmorgen. I will attach the GSD file

The intention is to map the standard telegram 0 ("ID_ProfiDrive_ST0" in the gsdml) and select the inputs and outputs using the standard profidrive parameters p915 and p916.

The parameter writing part is addressed in the manual 3.6 Parameter Configuration with PROFIdrive over PROFINET IO.

That product manual section describes the parameter access as in the Profidrive specification. The manual also explains how to parameterize the telegrams using the tool provided by the manufacturer (WorkBench).

My question is how can I do that parametrization directly in TiA Portal, without using the manufacturer tool? Or it is expected that each device in a profinet network is parametrized with the specific manufacturer tool?

 The manual states what index and so subindex needs to be used to write parameters. Normally WRREC is used for that with PN devices. Siemens and SEW has made custom program blocks for easy parameter manipulation for their products. It the VFD manufacturer you are using, doesn't offer a ready made parameter access block, you can try to make one your self.
