WinnCC Runtime Stops Loading in Tag Logging RunTime

The project was from version V19 that updates to V20. When i try to run WinCC the starting procedure, stops at 60% Tag Logging Run Time. Any Help?

When Runtime professional ist starting, then tag Logging stops at 60%: This typically points to an issue with the archives/tag logging subsystem (services, database, file path, licensing, or a corrupted archive). Below is a focused checklist to get you unstuck, plus a couple of quick fixes that solve most cases. Quick checks (often fix the 60% hang) Licenses Ensure the correct WinCC Runtime Professional license is present and any required options (e.g., Archives, WebUX if used). In Automation License Manager, verify licenses are valid, not expired, and assigned to the local machine (not just available on a dongle/server). Disk space & permissions Confirm free space on the drive hosting archives (typically the OS project directory or a custom archive path). Verify the configured Archive path is accessible and you have write permissions. If archives are on a network share/USB, move them to a local NTFS path temporarily. SQL Server services (for versions using SQL-based archives) Open Services and ensure: SQL Server (WINCC) or the instance used by WinCC is Running. SQL Server Browser and any WinCC runtime services (e.g., WinCC Runtime) are Running. If you see repeated start/stop, restart the machine and then start services manually. Archive reorganization / corruption Corrupted or oversized archives can stall startup at Tag Logging. Try reorganizing archives from TIA Portal (Tag Logging → Archives → Reorganize), or: Backup and clear the archives folder: Stop Runtime. Backup the project’s Archives directory (path set in Tag Logging). Temporarily rename the folder (e.g., Archives_old) or delete its contents.
