Hello Kristof74, I had the same problem with TIA Portal V17 and following the following steps solved it: 1. Deinstall V18 completely 2. Download the DVD with TIA V18 Setup 3. Store the DVD locally 4. Install TIA Portal as Admin, deactivate the antivirus-programs during the installation. 5. Try again if it is possible to install GSD files. Also check that there is compatibility between your software and your OS: Compatibility Tool |

How did the compatibility tool help you? Also, did you have to uninstall V18 completely? |

I didn't have to uninstall TIA portal. I had an incompatible STARTDRIVE version with my TIA Portal version. --- Kristof |
