Hi all, I was wondering if it would be possible to use the XC208 in a setup as shown in the image. A machine, consisting of 3 modules with a PLC each, is using the same IP for all PLCs (don't ask; can't be changed). An MES is meant to communicate with all 3 PLCs, so I am trying to implement a NAT solution where the MES communicates on the IPs shown in green. With the PLCs having the same IP, could VLANs prevent the PLCs talking to each other via the XC208, only allowing them to communicate with the port connected to MES? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ |

No its not possible to connect 3 identical IP-addresses to an XC208 and make them via NAT available from your MES. |
