Further you have to consider where you are on the network (MPI / IE / DP). [:P] Wenn your CPU don't understood routing then the only way to go online is when you are on the Profibus where the IM153-1 is also. [:(] Further check if your FM354 package is up-to-date. [;)]

J_Bell Posts: 5822 Rating: (412)	Dear Late and Swaminathan, as far as I know is the FM 354 not useable with the IM 153-1 because the IM does not support the forwarding of configuration telegrams. So the FM can not be configured remotely. This is only possible with the IM 153-2 and IM 153-3. The Message you see with the IM 153-1 is true, even so you see the FM in the Catalogue. If you whish you can also check the Catalogue Information in the HW Config, there you also see that the IM 153-1 does not support the FM 354. [;)] Best regards J_Bell
