migrating a project from S7 v5.5 to v11 TIA

tomus50 Posts: 49 Rating: (0)	i receive this error message when trying to migrate my main project into v 11 from v 5.5 The source project cannot connect to the SQL server. Please check your installation. It is possible that the WinCC SQL server instance is not available. none of the HMI's in the project are connected to an SQL. i have reinstalled TIA. where do i look? thank in advance

Denilson Pegaia Diamond Expert Joined: 9/23/2005 Last visit: 12/31/2025 Posts: 4435 Rating: (1487)	Hi, I asked, because internally, WinCC flexible uses SQL database to work. To make the converiton V11 needs the help of WinCC fleible. If you don't have it in your PC, a suggestion is to install it.
