s7-200 CPU224 , add EM221, EM231 in new projekt step7-microwin

tomasz83 Posts: 2 Rating: (0)	Hello everyone. I have new project in step7 microwin based on CPU 244, but i can add new modules. In data block , EM configuration, are 7 unused. How I can add Em221 or another . When I start new projekt only I can choice cpu ver, I can not add modules EM221. Maybe, when i connect online with s7-200 CPU it will apper? Can I add without connect with PLC? Is any wizard to add new moduls EM.? Pleace Help Many thankfull!

neo Posts: 264 Rating: (59)	Hello tomasz83, I think in Step 7 Microwin you don´t have to configure or add native peripherie EM modules (DI, DO, AI, AO) Just connect them and use them in your program! You don´t have to do hardware-configuration like usual in S7-300/400 projects. If you´re wondering about the adresses, have a look to this FAQ: http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/24122845 Only when you connect modules like Ethernet, Profibus, modem, .. you have to configure them. All of them got a wizard in Step 7 Microwin. But even those wizards just createsome system functions, or entries in V-Memory (DB1) in the background when running them.. best regards...
