Address problem in CPU 226

When I change PLC type to 226 then compile shows Error of address VW8000 which is being used in the Program. if I use VW5000 then compile is successful. can anyone tell me what may be the reason? urgent

If I remember the CPU 226 maximum is VB 5119 the 226XM is VB10239

AutoGen_1801304 Posts: 111 Rating: (32)	CPU226? What you are saying does not make sense. There must be other factors that is causing the compiling error. VW8000 is available for use in the CPU226. See picture below as well as attached PDF specification. Confirm this by adjusting the address from VW8000 to VW10230. Look into the usage of "configuration wizards" that might have used the address space. shoaib I have PLC program of CPU 226 CN. There are 4 releases of the CPU-2xx series. Version xxx20 to xxx23. The xxx21 to xxx23 you see most around, where CN versions are xxx23. The higher the versions the more functions/instructions are supported. In your case: 216-2xD21 S-7 226 5120 Bytes (see 2000 manual 6ES7298-8FA21-8BH0) 216-2xD22 S-7 226 5120 Bytes 216-2xF22 S-7 226XM 10240 Bytes (see 2003 manual 6ES7298-8FA22-8BH0 / 6ES7298-8FA23-8BH0) 216-2xD23 S-7 226 10240 Bytes (see 2008 manual 6ES7298-8FA24-8BH0, Last version)
