can we wire a proximity or any speed sensor (of digital signal)  to DI card, to measure the speed?

this is depending of the frequency of your signal and your used PLC/module.

Can you explain your challenge a little bit more detailed?

• which PLC - best with MLFB
• which DI-module is planned
• which sensor do you want to use
• which technical conditions are there

There's a confusion in teminology about proximity features of sensors. So, please provide any information about sensor type an what you are expecting from the sensor functionality.
