The 1500 CPU is much powerful than ET200SP series CPU .e.g.

If you look at the performance data of the CPU's and compare them, what do you find? Top end 1500 CPU's have multiple network interfaces + Profibus integrated. Also the amount of work memory is much greather than the low end. Also if you compare the bit-performance time between the CPU's, you will see that 1518 is 60 times faster processing time, that 1511 CPU. All of AT200SP CPU's are low end 1500 CPU's.
