Simatic Batch V82 Batch Archiving

Hello Everyone,

We are using PCS7/Batch V8.2, and are struggling to get the simple feature of auto-archiving of closed batches to a directory to work. If i test the connection to the directory for archiving from the BCC settings, (eg. \\ALLES1\ARCHIVING) from ES1, our recipe editing PC, the connection is fine.

But if i test it from the other clients, i get the error message SIMATIC BATCH: CONTROL CENTRE DIRECTORY "\\CLIENT3\ARCHIVING" DOES NOT EXIST OR ACCESS IS DENIED. LOGON FAILURE: UNKNOWN USER NAME OR BAD PASSWORD. Even if logged on as Administrator.

The directory is shared, and 'Everyone' has read and write permission. If i am on another client, i can access the folder, and create and delete files, eg a text file, from windows explorer.

Anyone any Idea. Feel free to answer in German.
