Hi, the undervoltage trip level is set by the inverter itself based on the value of the supply voltage. Assuming your process can survive a temporary drop in speed, and of course depending on what the load is (if there is sufficient inertial energy), you can activate the Kinetic buffering function. I have attached the part of the MM440 manual which describes this, but basically, the drive uses the motors regenerated energy to keep the DC Link above the Trip level at the sacrifice of load speed. Given that the supply is only losing a "few cycles" (20 - 40mS). then this should be ok, clearly, once the motor cannot regenerate enough energy, the drive will trip regardless. Best regards, Graeme
