I suspect, that because the PID is being used for speed setting, reverse is not possible. This PID function can only operate in a positive direction. Tractor |

Thanks for the reply. Indeed, I have not gotten it to work that way and in the end I cobbled together a latching circuit with a bunch of relays. Still I'm a bit surprised that this inverter does not support pushbuttons, that seems pretty basic to me and is readily supported by other inverter brands that I worked with. |

Thanks for the reply. You are not missing anything with this MM420, and what you have done is the right approach to take. The MM420 has been in production for some years now, now taken out of production in fact. Yes new sinamics inverter drive do have this facility, simple and effective for controlling motors. Tractor |

Hello, Please make the following settings: P0700 = 2 (terminal) P0701 = 1 (Function of digital input 1 => On Right) P0702 = 3 or 4 (Function of digital input 2 => Off2 or Off3) P0703 = 2 (Function of digital input 3 => On Left) And tell us from where you will send the setpoint speed to tell you how to parameterize P1000 to P1007 Hope this helps. |
