200KW (250KW VT) name plate MM440

I seen an inverter with name plate as 

3AC 380-480V +10---10% 442A 47-63HZ

3AC 0 --INPUT 370 A 477A VT 0-650HZ

OUTPUT 200KW (250KW VT)

Please guide me is this inverter capacity is 200kw or 250KW ? If we select a sinamics drive which KW we need to choose??

 This is 200kW, Motor capacity, about 370 Amperes for a constant torque load, or High Overload (H0).

A high overload would typically be a Conveyor, where the torque is required at low speeds.

The (250kW VT) motor this is suitable for a variable torque load, such as a fan, where the torque required for a centrifugal fan will be low, and only being at full load at high speed.

In summary this same inverter drive will power either a 200kW motor or a 250kW, depending upon the load which the motor is connected to. The duty cycle is low for a fan and high for a conveyor.

This refers to the type of load which the motor is connected to.

For example, a conveyor may be required to drive at a low speed, for many hours, maximum current may be supplied by the inverter drive for all of this time.

The load is not predictable, the drive may have to support shock loading to 150% for 57 seconds, within a cycle time of 300 seconds.

(LO) or Low Overload, or Variable Torque these terms also, refer to the type of load.

Take an example as a centrifugal fan, at low speed the current and Torque will be low, this is defined by a typical fan torque speed relationship. As the speed of the fan is increased the load will progressively increase to the working maximum.

This ensures that the inverter drive supplies the load in a controlled, and predictable way, with no shock loading from the motor. The drive can support the motor to 110% load for 57seconds, in a cycle time of 300 seconds.

Depending upon the load, the VSD could be 250kW for low Overload, or 315kW for High Overload

But while configuring in DT configurator , Low overload shows High and High Overload shows low..

Actually high overload should be high is it ..Because High overload will be be high torque applications ..

Here the inverter drive has two ratings:

(HO) High overload or Constant torque @ 477 Ampere.

(LO) Low overload or Variable Torque @570 Ampere.

The power stack is rated at a lower current rating to cope with the possible overload; for (LO) the same power stack is rated for 570 Ampere, because the load is predictable, to be less aggressive, as a fan torque speed curve would be.
