i have passive pulse output from the flowmeter and I want to know how to connect the passive pulse output to the PLC CPU 1214. Is it possible to connect to the the Digital input of the PLC CPU.

Split from Flow meter to PLC.

Yokogawa Mass flowmeter. Now I have sorted this issue by adding 1.5K ohm resistor between 24 V DC Supply and pulse output from the flowmeter. I have connected common 0 from the PLC to the flowmeter 0 V DC. Now the pulse from the meter has been counted through the PLC.
