communication between S7 1200 and Wincc 2008 SP5

Noob PG Regular Member Joined: 6/14/2018 Last visit: 11/5/2024 Posts: 7 Rating: (0)	Hello! I need to communicate my PLC S7 1200 - CPU 1215C DC/DC/DC Firmware Version 4.1, whit Wincc RT 2008 SP5 . I had configured my project of Wincc flexible like the following post: https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/ww/en/view/38111886 But I don't made the Data Block because I just used de I/O tags. I find the IP of my PC online in TIA Portal V13 SP2 project, I find the IP of my PLC when I execute the ping comands im my PC, but I can't to visualizate to rum my icons that monitoring the Inputs whem the wincc RT is running. In my TIA project I'm not add the wincc RT. Someone have a idea about the problem: Thanks.

I try to find the PG / PC interface on my PC where Wincc Flexible is running: Start >> Search, but I didn't find it. I have only the communication settings, like the attached image. I did a test, tried to run the wincc project on my Field PG M4 and communicated with the S7 1200, the test was run without problems, confirming his advice. I reinstalled RT on the machine's computer, after installation, the Set PG / PC interface appeared, I configured it as the images in the attachments, but the problem with communication continued. There may be another issue with win10 where you will need to update the Windows Package: vcredist_x64.
