Problem with Siwarex U and CPU313C 2DP

In the help, it's written: "The S7 SETUP program must be executed so that the SIWAREX U module is listed in the STEP 7 module catalog. " I don't understand this sentence, what's the S7 setup program? Best regards Zenta I have Siwatool, but not SIWAREX U SETUP FOR STEP7, and it's it that I need. Where I can find this setup? Siwarexi Gold Expert Joined: 1/4/2007 Last visit: 11/13/2024 Posts: 1147 Rating: (175)	Hello Brebiou, If you have a Siwarex U module with the order-number 7MH4601-xxx, then you have to buy the configuration package CD with the order-number: 7MH4683-3AA63. On that configuration package CD, there exist the folder “SIWAREX-U-SETUP-FOR-STEP7” with a setup.exe file. This file needs to be executed when the Simatic Manager is closed. After executing that file, you can find the Siwarex U module as a function module (=SIMATIC 300 / FM-300 / weighing modules) in the hardware catalogue.This software runs only with the operating system Windows XP, not with Windows Vista! If you have a Siwarex U module with the order-number 7MH4950-xxx, then you can update your hardware catalogue of Step7. This happens by opening the HW Config of Step7, choose “Options” / “Install HW Updates...” / “Download from Internet” / Button “Execute...” and then choose the number “2037” for the Download and Installation.
