Hi I want to please ask for help on a problem I have with communicating from a web server to an s1200 PLC. I have activated the web server and in local network it works perfectly, I can see it.... The PLC is connected to a mikrotik router who in turn is connected to an another router with a 4G sim that gives it a static public IP to my mikrotik router. I have made a VPN connection to connect remotely to the PLC from my pc to mikrotik router, the VPN connection works and the connection with the PLC subnet is correct (in fact I can connect online with the Tia Portal program, and read variables make changes etc) as if it were in the same network phisically, because the VPN connection works. The problem is when I want to directly access the server page, I cannot access. However I can do it, when I connect on the same local network. I think the parameters are fine and I have indicated the option to use router with the gateway address, but it does not connect. I am very grateful if someone can help me ( I’m sorry because my english are not well) Attachmentsiemens.pdf (289 Downloads) |

hi cesarinko, VPN can be configured, that you only can connect or communicate to specific IP-addresses or ports. There are also firewalls that protect the Network from harm. Following FAQ shows you the ports that are used with SIMATIC devices: Which ports are used by the various services for data transfer via TCP and UDP and what should you watch out for when using routers and firewalls?
I recommend you to ask the operator of the network, if there is any restriction about webserver-access to the S7-1200. hope this helps, regards, |
