Calculate the water flow on a v notch wire

Hello 

Can a calculation like 1.417 x h^1.5  be done as a mathematical function? 

Basicaly, I want to calculate the water flow on a v notch wire and I have :

1. analog pressure sensor is reading the height h
2. value of 1.417 which will never change 
3. the power of h which is 1.5 and will never change. 

on the mathematical funcion I can`t calculate the ^ of the 1.417.

any ideas ?
