Depends what telegram are you using for communications. Telegram352 has Alarm and Fault words in the telegram alread. Here's one link for you to see how it can be done. FB352 with the display of fault and alarm messages on the HMI |

Simotion axes are all telegram 105, the G120 drivers are running with telegram 1 |

There are manuals describing direct connection of a Siemens HMI to a Sinamics S120 but via connection to a CU not to a Simotion D. However engineering tools (e.g. Scout) are able to do it, ie. to reach CU "hiding" behind Simotion. So it might be worth of investigation. |
