itafusna Silver Member Joined: 2/17/2020 Last visit: 11/8/2024 Posts: 1112 Rating: (204)	Hi It is important to ensure that when the installation begins, it is done by right clicking the .exe file > Run as administrator with a user with administrator permissions on the PC. In case you are not sure or have not done so, this would be my first recommendation. I hope that helps!

daercole Experienced Member Joined: 4/7/2012 Last visit: 11/8/2024 Posts: 116 Rating: (4)	I'm Runnning Windows 7 x64 (virtual machine) I tryied also to open the setup file inside the folder (already with admin rules) but the same error C:\WinCCflexible2008_SP5_Upd2\InstData -> setup.exe seems a bad achive uploaded on the Siemens server ? Edit: I could install it by running this file: C:\WinCCflexible2008_SP5_Upd2\InstData\rs.exe (I was trying Setup.exe as usual...)

If the operating system in use is not up to date and therefore does not have the latest root certificates, the new signature cannot be verified and the setup cannot be executed. An error message appears. This applies in particular to Windows 7. Remedy: Connect your PC to the Internet and install any pending updates for your operating system. It should then be possible to install the product. -------------- -> So do wIn Updates to latest Version then it should work Bye Murof
