Did you solved this problem? If yes, how??? I am in a similar situation with a problem between a PLC S7-1200 where the diagnostic buffer indicates the same failure in an ET200 to which it is connected.

I have a module that is connected through profinet with a S7-1200 PLC.
Sometimes the PLC goes into different errors, mostly in this order :

- user data failure of hardware component
- IO device failure - watchdog time expired
- IO device failure - IO device not found

Mostly the error go away by them self, but it has happened that I had to restart the PLC also to get it to work again.

Under user data failure of hardware component I see :

Error: User data failure of hardware component

ABIC-PRT / Output 032 bytes_1.

What could cause these problems.

I already replaced the cable with a shielded version and that seemed to help alot, since I only had to restart the PLC once since then.

to me is most part important to know what ET200, S or SP? In specific situations this is that important thing what sets ET200S compatibility to very low and also in some cases to 0.
