DEACTIVATING DP SLAVE

                     Her I am with a problem . In my machine there are 6 SDC ( 24 V Servo DC motors ) .

All 6 motors are on profbus & work by synchronization Node address are 70 to 75 . My problem is the node # 70 motor is out of order & CPU 317 2PN/DP V3.1 showing BF & SF continuously . I tried to delete the drive in Hardware configuration save & compile  re download   But then SF led with the fault peripheral access . IOs access errors . At the forum I read about the SFC12 to deactivate the DP slave . My Node has the following data

Node address 70

input address 416....418   & 421.......423

output address 416....418 & 421 .....423

parameters 424...425

parameters  424.....425

diagnostic address 8158b .

So I wanna use it but have some confusions like

1= For SFC12 what will be the request & busy ( Cane I use M4.3 & m4.4 ) which are free in my project . same as MW10 for Ret_val

2= I think Mode will be 2 to deactivate the slave 70 .

3= What will be the ladder input . PIW416 or PQW  416

4= What for those FCs , DBs & FBs which are reading & writhing from this node .

Please suggest briefly from your precious time will be thank full .

You seem to be on the right track:

SFC12 Mode 2 will deactivate the slave designated by its Logical Address (LADDR); we usually use the diagnostic address of the module, provided by HWConfig.

You can use any available bit address for the REQ and BUSY signals, but you should look at the following documents, FAQs from Siemens and an extract from a Hans Berger book (found on the web, if you want to consult it), that indicate how your program must use these bits to control the operation of SFC12 over more than one scan (it is an asynchronous function_:

I do not know where you found Enable in the SFC 12 maybe you program in LAD? Above is in STL
