Good morning to everyone. I am working with an NCU730.3B PN/317 (lets call it "repaired NCU") and a NCU130.3 PN (and this one "Lab NCU"). Last week a coworker forced the CF card sideways into the CF slot of the front pannel of the NCU. This caused some of the pins of the card reader to bend, others to break completely, adn the CF Card to be fried. We have already fixed the CF card reader pins by installing a new connector, and it seems to work fine. The card that was introduced sideways (Card#1) with code "6FC5851-1CG45-xxxx" seems to be fried. It was currently using SINUMERIK ONE with "SINUMERIK 840D sl SW4.8 SP2 HF1" and CNC software 31-3. We tried using another generic CF card (Card#2) with code "6FC5313-5AG00-xxxx", but this seems to be for SOLUTION LINE. We have a 3rd CF card (Card#3) for lab purposes that is fine, and should work with SINUMERIK ONE with code "6FC5851-1XG44-xxxx". Card#3 works with another NCU730.3 that we have on the lab, so there should be no problem there. I tried introducing the CF cards into the Lab NCU to check for a "reference result for the later checks. THis are my results: - Without CF Card or with Card#1 on Lab NCU: All LEDs show fixed orange and Display reads "3388." error code. - With Card#2 on Lab NCU: LED RDY turns fixed red, RUN blinks green at 1Hz and STOP blinks orange at 1Hz. - With Card#3 on Lab NCU: Normal Boot up in less than 60 seconds. LEDs RDY blinks green at 1Hz, RUN is fixed green, and PN is fixed red (no profinet connection found). Given that the CF Card reader is already repaired, I have tried re-inroducing all those cards in the repaired NCU. No NCU was connected into a ProfiNet network wince we are troubleshooting. The following situations happen: - Wthout any CF Card inside of the repaired NCU: after 1 minute of Boot the LED RDY blinks at 2Hz in orange, the STOP AND SU/PF blink orange alternatively at 1Hz, and 7-segment Display reads "Ur" code. (Lets call this "Ur situation") - With Card#1 and repaired NCU: When booting up all LEDs are in a fixed orange and the 7-segment display reads "25". 10 minutes later the LED RDY blinks red at 2Hz, and teh STOP and SU/PF leds blink alternatively in orange at 1Hz. - With Card#2 and repaired NCU: All LEDs are fixed and orange color except for the RDY LED that is OFF. 7-segment display reads code "25". After 7 minutes like this we go into "Ur situation". - With Card#3 and repaired NCU: All LEDs are fixed orange except the RDY which is OFF. Display reads "25" code. 9 minutes later we go into "Ur situation". I understand that the "3388." 7-segment display code means error with the CF card, that the Ur code meaning can be found in the following link (https://support.industry.siemens.com/forum/es/en/posts/840d-sl-seven-segment-code-ur/243191), and that most 7-display error codes can be found here (https://cache.industry.siemens.com/dl/files/402/64918402/att_103150/v1/IM7_en_en-US.pdf). Previously we obtained 7-segment display error code "3382.", which means error with NCU if I remember correctly, but it no longer appears. I need help with the 7-display segment Error "25" code, of which an explanation is nowhere to be found. I will be trying more things suggested in this forun in teh meantime. Thank you in advace, wise ones. I It is my first time posting, so forgive me for poor etiquete or verbose explanations. Best regards |
