Is there any option to download 840D NCU program from laptop?

Yes , I need to know what do you mean NCU program? CNC cutting programs? or something else

Hello, What you want to download? System software is on PCMCIA card which user cannot down load. From NCU you can download or back up data on external storage device like, NC arc file in which you can back up data related to machine information NC file e.g. machine data, axis specific, drive data etc. etc. NC arc file can be opened on external device with text programs like wordpad or notepad etc. etc. You can back up PLC data in arc format but it can not be edit or view. It is useful for restoration in case or data corruption or hardware replacement. Here I presume you are talking about 840D PL. You can have WinPCIN software & RS232 hardware to connect with NCU & download the data. In Forum you can search & you will get numerous topics on how to back up & restore NC PLC data. Hope this helps. |
