error 701223

Good day. Sinumerik 840. The barrier system on the laser machine worked when changing tables. Now, when the upper limit switch is triggered when changing the tables, the error 701223 is displayed. Please tell me how to fix it.

The 5, 6 and 700,000 series alarms are freely configurable by the machine tool builder (meaning they are machine specific and not system alarms). Please get a suitably experienced and qualified maintenance technician to

consult the machines electrical drawings in combination with the alarm text provided by the builder - he / she might have some luck. Failing this you would either need to contact the machine builder directly for advise or if you have access to the Simatic Manager manually cross reference to associated DB2 interface bit for this user alarm (previously control system experience is required for this)
