Website improvement suggestion for searching manuals

Lucky123 Gold Member Joined: 12/20/2008 Last visit: 8/12/2024 Posts: 556 Rating: (236)	On this website I found one thing very interesting, such as if I enter the part number on the serach option, immediately after clicking it comes with exact same part number option, down below above the FAQ's or forum thread section. Which is very interesting, however when we click on that part it shows the picture of that part and with 3 tabs, which is good enough, the 3rd tabs states the technical specs which is wonderful, however on the righhand side there is an option of technical info/ documentation/manual etc when we click on that some times it shows the manual of the part, and some times it does not, for example for a CPU31X it might show the manual but if I enter the power supply part number or SM321 module card number it does not show me any manual and states unable to find the manual. Then I would click on the forum and write my query and some one else will find the link and send it, do not you think it would be good for siemens website to show the related manual on the same spot whereever technical documentation or on the right hand side, let me know if I am difficult to explain it, the I will do it in a pictorial way, Thanks lalit

To find manuals don't go to the right hand side (More on ...) but Just go in entries and chose manuals and you will find it there. Before doing anything, I recommend to gothrough the guided tour and the online help of this website. You can findthem in the right down corner of any page here. Best regards. H-H

You can't view manuals in your link because you didn't select a certain power supply. Just if you switch to product list and choose a power supply then go back to entries, you will definitely find the manual you are looking for.
