The main idea of the project is to measure the voltage of the drill with my iEM2455 RS485 and send this information to the plc and project it. The principal problem is the ZLAN 5143D that gives me problems sending to it the information and connecting to this thing, if someone can barely help me solutioning the problem to this modbus connection. It's difficult to diagnose a communication problem with the information provided. I understand you're working with an Ethernet/IP adapter, correct?

If you're using an S7-1500, Siemens has libraries for switching from RJ45 to Ethernet/IP. You may be able to use them as a substitute (Scanner and Adapter).

Sorry if it was a very bad and short explanation, is the first time i use this technologies. The main cuestion is about how to porperly connect the ModBus (the previusly mentioned zlan5134D) adapter to PLC trough Modbus library in TIA portal. I don´t recieve any type of response from the adapter. i´m currently using the block named MB_Server to connect to it. Do you have any ideas on how to get a response?
