Is it possible to program a kind of Astro function with LOGO.
What i need is to follow the sunup/sundown time- on a a fixed location.

There have been a couple of 'cool' short programs on the German one to determine when the sun rises or sets. Check out

Pretty straightforward, but needing to lookup a locations ALMANAC (fancy word for 'sunrise & sunset times') and put these into the program as parameters. It is also pretty approximate.

Unlike another rmanufacturer that says that they have a solar tracking function library built into their unit (that takes up almost all the programming space! no space left for a decent program!), the LOGO! does not have complex internal mathematical calculation capabilities - it knows ON/OFF, integer values, counters and timers.

Are you needing a function that turns ON when it is officially SUNRISE and OFF when it is officially SUNSET? How accurate does it have to be - in the German forum, the one user says that it only needs to be about 20 minutes accurate.

one can try to use the LOGO with timers which contain the Astro function via EIB.

the German Example is only created to let down the Shutter at Sundown Time.

The Sunup Time is not included.
