But I think using standalone integrators would be better for your application specially you need only to monitor the weight. Siemens offers stand alone integrators like BW100 & BW500. Regards,

Is it not that siwarex ms will have a maximum weigh of 32767kg since it is using an integer function to monitor weigh.........????? correct me if am wrong......ill be using 4 pcs. load cell for one tank each having 10,000 kgs capacity......can this be handle by siwarex ms if i go beyond 32767 up...for actual weight process..... help will greatly appreciated

The “integer” number format limits the entry to a maximum of 32767. The maximum weight depends on the number and type of load cells used. That means that the value 32767 is corresponds to maximum weight. it's not 32767 kg. it's weighing counts. so you will make calibration and then you will have the actual weight. You can think of it exactlly like AI signals. In S7-200 for example, if you have a level sensor to measure the level of something in a tank from 0 to3 meters. the transducer output is 0-10V. 0V correspons to 0m. &10 Vis corresponding to 3m. How the PLC see these values? 0Vis coresponds to0 of AI counts. 10V is coresponds to32000 of AI counts. Thats it. So the 32000 does not means 32000 m or 32000 cm. it's only counts. The same thing will be applied to Siwarex MS. Regards,

You see the weight value into S7-200 as an integer value. The maximum value for the integer format is “32767”. So this “32767” can represent: - 32767 kg - 3276.7 kg - 327.67 kg - 32.767 kg - 3.2767 kg The dead load of the scale is uninteresting. Best regards Siwarexi
