sinamics S120 configuration

"sonu" Posts: 12 Rating: (0)	dear all, i m using 802D sl with sinamics S120 drive with 2 motor module on turning machine . 1is twin-axis module for x & z axis and second module is for spindle. i started complete IBN sinamics many time but there is different types of problem for z axis after each IBN. altough x axis is moving correctly. 1. z axis drive fault. 2. z axis is waiting for drive. 3. z axis absolute encoder warning . tell me the apropriate procedure for removing these faults. plz regard me.

ChristophD Grandmaster-Expert Joined: 5/12/2006 Last visit: 12/19/2025 Posts: 22816 Rating: (3073)	@K.Pavan x&z axis are on the same motormodule (twinmotormodule) when there is a problem with U/V/W then all axis have this problem on the module (x and z) @sonu can you red the parameter r2 of each drive and the faultbuffers of the drive(p945ff`? at the moment i think the z axis drive will be in commissioning mode and not in ready to operate
