help me with scaling in S7-1200

m.najib Posts: 4 Rating: (0)	Hi, Anyone can help me with scaling in S7-1200. I’ve got five pressure transmitters 0-10 V, and i have no idea how to scale them using SCALE-X and NORM-X. How to relate the 5 inputs to the blocks what input type and tag should be used and what are the required blocks for value scaling???? In S7-200 using only one block was enough, I’m just a beginner any one can help please....

Denilson Pegaia Platinum Expert Joined: 9/23/2005 Last visit: 11/4/2024 Posts: 4351 Rating: (1451)	Hi, you can use 5x the Norm to convert each one of your 5 analogic values to normalized values. After that for each one you can use a Scale to rearrange the scale. you can also mount a FC with this two blocks (like the TIP /tf/WW/en/Posts/31698#top) and call it 5 x. The address number indicate the first byte of the variable. A word uses two bytes. So, IW0 uses byte 0 and 1. The next IW is IW2 (bytes 2 and 3).

m.najib Posts: 4 Rating: (0)	Thanks a lot, in this program you used also "out of range" and "LIMIT" blocks are they neccesary or NORM-X and SCALE X are enough, Is there any ready made block for this conversion in the library like in S7-200 which we can you? Regards,

My blocks are a sample. Everone can create a library to implement it. Idon't know producty library to do this.
