FM 458 (DP Not Available)

Sachin_MEC Posts: 13 Rating: (0)	Hi I am using FM 458-1DP order No-6DD1607-0AA2(FirmWare V2.1.1not available in HardwareCatalog).I've connected an ABB drive through Probifus in DP slot of FM 458-1DP. When I go online after compiling &Downloadingthe complete hardware, the DP slots of FM 458-1DP is notHighlighted (shown in the attachment)& also not getting any error regarding that FM 458-1DP Profibus communication. Can any one tell me why its not highlighted . I had also try to communicate the same drive through CPU-416order No-6ES7 416-3XR05-0AB0which is in the same rack, thereits working perfectly means communication without any error. I have check all theparameter that is needed for communicationlike profibus address ,PPO type on both Drive and PLC. Both are same. Regards, Sachin Attachment FM458_DP.JPG (245 Downloads)

LA_COLD Posts: 24 Rating: (8)	This icon is never "highlighted". It looks the same in my online mode as it does yours. Are you sure you programmed the DP port correctly in the FM458? You have to call the CTV block and setup the addressing to assign the port correctly.

KSN Platinum Expert Joined: 8/25/2006 Last visit: 11/11/2024 Posts: 2211 Rating: (280)	Expect of @PRODP you should configure blocks CTV and CRV (or CTV_P and CRV_p) with the appropriate number of sending/receiving data (accordind to the ppo-type whch you use in abb drive).
