Difference between CPU DP port and CP module?

Late Platinum Expert Joined: 1/7/2006 Last visit: 11/17/2023 Posts: 2705 Rating: (318)	Hi Mike, Above the things Denilson have metioned the CP (for example the CP342-5D) can do a lot of work that the CPU then not have to do. It is also possible to multiplex 16 panels so that you can save on connections to the CPU (use a smaller CPU with the same equipment behind it). So it is completly depending on which situation you have to build up the installation you want to have.
