I recommend you search the internet a driver updated.Then reinstall S7 Basic. I think that something is no working properly between S7 and video driver. Running Windows XP in VGA mode (press F8 before you begin to load Wxp, and select VGA mode). Try if it works or not the TIA, in this way confirm if the video driver or not

I have the same problem I uninstalled all my Step7 Framework and Basic. Then resettled STEP7 basic. I still have the problem but the duration of the screens black is less important.
