Communication S7 and E1101 Bejer Op-panel!

L-O Posts: 12 Rating: (0)	Hello again! We are connecting an Bejer E1101 Op-panel to our S7-400, and we are useing an Ethernetconnection. Whatdo I have to do in the S7 program to get this to work? Can I put all the signals i want to read and write from the panel i a special DB and then it's ok, or do i have to do more then this? /L-O

I guess it doesn't support the S7-protocol directly. Most other vendors use simple ethernet communication that requires you to define a direct fetch and write connection port. That should be done in NETPRO. Then the panel can read/write to your variables. With some you need to load some special FC's. PS. It always good to collect all panel data in one datablock to speed things up (or one for receive and one for send data). I looked in this manualbut nothing aboutconnecting to Siemens.... i hope it is possible at all. Better contact the supplier for more info. Good luck. René

When you work with a panel that could be programmed with Protool or WinCC Flexible then you have a lot of advanteces that you don't have if you use a E1101 Bejer.... For example the Symbolic Data is directly useable with the panel and if there is trouble then you have on almost every country in the world backup to solve the problems. If the price is some lower, you have already bypassed that difference..... If the customer didn't want to use other panels then the Bejer (I have never heard about this panel) then you can easyli let him see what advanteces he have with a panel which is programmed with Protool or WinCC Flexible.
