S7-200 parameters

Ramboooo Posts: 77 Rating: (0)	Dear Expert , I have the below part in packaging machine: Siemens Simatic S7-200 CPU 224 (214-1AD23-OXBO) EM 223 (223-1BH22-OXAO) The problem is : The PLC is not keeping the entered parameters after power off. Note: i don't have a battery instaled into my CPU. please help me . Best regards

According to manual: Retentive Data Memory -- Areas of data memory the user selects to remain unchanged over a power cycle, as long as the super capacitor and the optional battery cartridge have not been discharged. V, M, Timer Currents, and Counter Currents are the only data memory areas that are configurable to be retentive Hope this helps. Attachment ret.JPG (291 Downloads)

Hello, Did you switched machine OFF for a few days after? How after one month did you have a problem? And in case how did you proceed in order to work? Is this means the program is password protected? Duration of the Retentive Feature in S7-21x and S7-22x best regards, Hristo Mihalev
